Sunday Morning Programs

Regular programs are on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.
Coffee is at 10:15, with the program from 10:45 to 12:00.
We generally have a discussion forum of various topics before the 1st and 3rd Sunday service. Check this website for topics.
Children's classes begin at 9:45 on 1st and 3rd Sundays,
with classes for preschool to junior high.
Refreshments and discussion follow the program.
On 2nd and 4th Sundays, the Adult Religious Education group meets from 10:45 to 12:00 for short courses and informal discussion of various subjects. Childcare is provided during the class.

Sunday, January 1, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. -
Start the new year right with our traditional bread and butter open house at Jean Kubala's house. Come any time between 10:30 and 1:30. There will be paper and pencil to write one thing you want to get rid of during 2012 (a bad temper, the mess in your closet, twenty pounds?) We'll burn the paper in the fireplace, drink orange juice, eat home made bread and butter, and share our holiday memories. the address is 1111 North Third in Temple. Everyone - along with any house guests - is welcome.

- Thoreau's Different Drummer - Jean Kubala will lead this special service and elaborate on H.D. Thoreau's quote "If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." Our life frequently seems regulated by everyone else’s expectations - constant and demanding, like the regular beat of a metronome. Henry David Thoreau was an early Unitarian who had something to say about this
